    Description

“Dancing On The Day Of The Dead” is an original piece created by me in my studio. The inspiration was sort of a tie between Mexican Day of the Dead and New Orleans voodoo folk art. I looked and could not see much art at all that wasn’t mass produced or priced crazy high.
I had fun making this, although cutting each individual tooth was painstaking....this piece also has the heart and locket! That makes 3 that have it.
The frame is old, with nicks and fading here and there, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Using antique mirror and art frames is an obsession of mine, and there is excitement in the idea of creating yet another picture and story to tell in its housing.
