These remarkable hand made stainless gorgets are made of sturdy 18 gauge 304 stainless steel with 4-5oz suede backing and are with assembled with solid hammer-peined copper rivets and high quality leather straps. Special attention is paid to properly rounding the edges of the steel plates as is safe and proper for armor that will be near to the body.  With thousands sold over the past decade these gorgets have earned a reputation for being extremely very well made and durable. Our extensive selection of sizes ensures excellent off-the-shelf fit.  While the dog collar gorget is simple in concept and design, our gorget is sought out as delivering superior customer satisfaction over the others.

A note on functionality:  You are looking on ebay, you've probably seen dozens of gorgets listed here that are predominately made in India.  While they may have an elaborate appearance, this class of armor is typically not well designed to fit onto an
actual fighter in combat
.  If you are going to be really using the armor and counting on it to delivery consistent protection, buy your armor from an
actual armorer
rather than an wage paid metalworker being told to make something that looks a certain way.  There is BIG difference.
