Up for auction is a beautiful art piece dedicated to baseball Hall of Famer Derek Jeter of the New York Yankees. World renowned pop artist, Charles Fazzino created this very rare and limited edition (10/22) piece in 2006. The bottom portion has Derek Jeter’s Autograph Signature with the words “Yankee Captain” inscribed by Jeter. To the right of Derek’s signature is Charles Fazzino’s signature.
This piece is authenticated by Steiner Sports and has the COA on the back of the frame.
The piece in total measures 27.25” high by 23.5” in width. When on the wall, the depth is 2.25”.
This piece highlights many of Jeter’s career accomplishments and famous moments surrounded by the famous navy blue Yankee pinstriped matting. Each of Derek’s moments are captured by the unique “pop art” 3D style that Fazzino is known for. Many celebrities and famous icons are known collectors of Fazzino’s work. His work has been featured in some of the most prestigious art museums in the world.
