An index to boundaries, and index to adjoining sheets, the approximate mean declination for the center of the sheet diagramed in 1957, a compete legend, and a table of coutour 10 foot intervals are all included.
Officer Candidate School (OCS) began after World War II in individual States. They were patterned after the regular Army's curriculum at Fort Benning, Georgia. In Iowa the training programs began in 1957 at Camp Dodge, Polk County. The intention was to improve the quality of soldiers for the Iowa Army National Guard.
