    Description

    1920 Wurlitzer Scholarship Certificate, issued by the Rudolph Wurlitzer Co., Chicago, to J. W. Darrow of Rockham, South Dakota, who had purchased a clarinet, entitling him to a full course of 24 lessons from the United States School of Music in New York City. The "scholarship" entitled Darrow to tuition only - he still had to pay .00 to cover the cost handling of the first 2 months lessons, and another dollar every two months.
    Accompanying the certificate is the original bill for the purchase of the clarinet, case, lyre and reeds, and the envelope which the bill and certificate came in.
    Normal folds. The Certificate is in Fine condition. The bill has a small edge tear at right.
